Our approach
Useful information. Clear sources.
How we build and maintain the Tile Roofing USA resource.
Contractor listings
Our directory combines companies carried over from the Slate Roofing USA contractor network with companies whose official websites document clay or concrete tile work. Imported records retain their existing business details, service descriptions and source profile. “Tile services documented” identifies company website evidence reviewed for this tile directory. “Tile services listed” identifies tile work described in a source directory or manufacturer contractor roster; it is not a fresh company-website service check. “Confirm tile services” means clay or concrete tile work still needs confirmation. Each profile explains its source and status. Confirm project suitability, licensing, insurance, workmanship and availability directly. A listing is not a guarantee or an endorsement.
Membership & ordering
Slate, Tile & Metal Guild members appear first, in alphabetical order. Membership flags are preserved from the Slate Roofing USA directory; they do not establish tile capabilities. NSA members follow Guild members, then other contractors appear alphabetically. Companies belonging to both organizations display both membership labels. No membership badge is assigned solely because a company offers slate roofing. Companies may request a correction through our contact page.
Guides & technical advice
Our guides are original introductory explanations and project-planning prompts. Links identify relevant government, industry and manufacturer resources. They are not project specifications. Applicable codes, product approvals, manufacturer instructions and qualified professional assessment must guide the work.
Images & project claims
Submitted photographs must include permission to publish and accurate project credits. Contractor project galleries link to the companies responsible for the work.
Counts & corrections
Visible counts are calculated from the actual published directory and guides. The displayed contractor total counts the unique company profiles published here, including transferred records and existing tile specialists after overlaps are merged. Please contact us if a source or listing needs updating.
