Care

Small observations. Better roof decisions.

Durable tiles still belong to a roof assembly that needs attention. A simple record helps you spot changes and explain them to your roofer.

Observe from a safe location

Look for slipped or broken pieces, debris buildup and changes after storms. Check indoor ceilings and accessible attic spaces for signs of water. Never climb onto a tile roof just to inspect or photograph it.

Keep drainage in the conversation

Ask your roofer about valleys, gutters and areas where leaves collect. Arrange appropriate professional maintenance for difficult or unsafe access.

Avoid a one-size-fits-all cleaning method

Ask the tile manufacturer for cleaning guidance for the exact product and finish. Aggressive methods can damage the surface or drive water into the roof assembly.

Maintain a roof file

Save inspection photographs, repair invoices, product information and the location of spare tiles. Give new tradespeople the roof details before they access it for equipment or other building work.
